New unwashed fabric, since some people are allergic to detergent. I have found they shrink a very small amount in wash that made the fit better for me. These are not medical grade mask but fabric face coverings recommended to be worn.
Washing recommendations- machine washable but I find gentle cycle or hand wash is best for longest use with nose wire.
