Amerex® 13 Pound Halon 1211 Fire Extinguisher with wall mount bracket operates effectively at the temperature range of -40 to 120 deg F. Extinguisher featuring all metal valve construction has chrome plated brass valve. Dependable drawn steel cylinder extinguisher measuring 20 1/4" X 8 1/2" X 5" has stored pressure design. Fire extinguisher with large loop pull pin features long lasting high gloss polyester powder paint. It has a discharge range of 12 - 18' and discharge time of 14 sec. It offers maximum visibility during discharge and will not leave any residue. It is thermal or static shockproof and does not conduct electricity back to the operator. Halon 1211 is a liquefied gas that is pressurized with nitrogen. It discharges as a vapor without causing cold, static shock or impairment of the operator's vision. Clean agent penetrates areas that are difficult to see and hard to reach. It is perfect for protection of delicate, sensitive and expensive computers, tapes and film, electrical equipment, laboratory chemicals and equipment, automotive and aircraft engines. Extinguisher with bar coded and bi-lingual labels provides good discharge range and superior fire extinguishing ability. It is UL listed and complies with NFPA 10 standard.
