Discography number two! The tireless grindpunkers Cloud Rat are back with 23 new songs. All songs have appeared on various splits and EPs over the last year. Comes on CD via MOMENT OF COLLAPSE RECORDS. The intersection of grind, hardcore and power violence has always yielded a lot and is known for spawning albums that often contain more than 15 songs. Michigan's Cloud Rat are no exception. After their third album 'Qliphoth' (2015) and several subsequent tours through Europe and North America and a first discography (2016), the band is now releasing work show number two. The 23 songs have been released over the past year from various EPs and splits (with MOLOCH, DISROTTED, CREVASSE, TEST, THE WORLD IS A VAMPIRE) and are now appearing collectively. Unlike so many other bands of this genre, Cloud Rat offer the listener a great variety in the songs. Of course they burn off a real firework of blast beats and riffs, but they always leave room for classic punk or hardcore passages. You can even discover light Death Metal or Post Rock (!) elements. Since the beginning of their band history, Cloud Rat's focus has always been on being a live band. The band plays 100 to 150 shows a year without any problems and not only in their American homeland.
