Over time, the vibrant colours of your SpyderCheckr™ color cards may gradually fade due to exposure to various light sources. This gradual fading can eventually impact the precision of colour balance within your photography workflow. When you observe that the red patch has transitioned to a yellow-orange hue* within the FadeCheckr window located at the bottom left corner inside the Checkr, it's a clear indication that it's time to replace the colour cards. This ensures that you continue to work with the authentic, spectrally engineered colours across all 48 patches on the two cards, guaranteeing unparalleled colour accuracy in your photography.

*Please take note that some earlier editions of SpyderCheckr™ featured a single light-exposed red patch, visible through the FadeCheckr window. However, products produced after December 2010 are equipped with two patches for simplified assessment of fading (one remains concealed behind the frame inside the Checkr when the cards are in place).
