This is a designer piece. Coralia leets is a high end jewelry designer (look her up online) who is known for her interesting use of faceted gem stones, metal and pearl embellishments. Her new designs are typically gold over sterling, her early day designs were typically gold filled. I can not find a metal marking; that coupled with the age this necklace leads me to believe it is a gold filled version. Delicate but sturdy gold chain that holds butterfly dangle embellishments, genuine pearl embellishments, and genuine faceted citrine embellishments- approximately 40 whopping carats of natural, gleaming citrine!! I purchased this necklace in 2004 in an antique shop- not sure how much of an antique this is, since coralia is still living I think, but this is definitely her early stuff and I have never come across this particular design again. Super special!! Similar designs she has with this level of heft and gem material retails for 700-2000. Open to reasonable offers! Perfect cond!
