This particular model is made of honed lava stone, a volcanic rock that gives a wonderful smooth, muted dark gray / black effect. We recommend that you also purchase a drain with your stone sink in the same finish of your faucet. Due to the design of the sink, a low flow-rate faucet with either a waterfall design or one that does not send the water out at an angle will work best. It is also best to have a faucet where the spout height does not greatly exceed the height of the sink.
