MPM Excel SAP Silicone Superabsorbent Dressing is a sterile dressing used on exuding wounds, consisting of a perforated silicone wound contact layer, a superabsorbent fiber layer and a vapor permeable and waterproof polyurethane film. The multi-layered construction facilitates dynamic fluid management, which provides an optimal moist wound environment to promote faster healing. The gentle silicone layer can be moved without losing its adherence, and can also minimize pain and trauma to the wound and its surrounding skin. The absorbent pad is highly absorbent to reduce the risk of maceration.
