Adding a reflector to your studio light helps control the lighting angle and focus the light. The Fotodiox background Reflector is a sconce-shaped light modifier that outputs an oval, fan-like beam of light that is ideal for placing behind the subject for even lighting of the background. Alternately, you can place it closer to the background for a corona or graduated effect or backlight the subject to separate him or her from the background. The reflector is "sliced" at a 45 Degree angle into a scoop shape that hides behind a portrait subject perfectly. You can use it 3.0 inches or 3.0 feet from the background for sharp or very gradual fall-off effects. The reflector has handy clips to attach gels and diffusion material. This reflector is designed for use on Balcar and Paul C Buff (AlienBees, Einstein, White Lightning) style strobe heads.
