Van Compass's Opti-Rate spring pack, a decade in the making, addresses harsh bottom-out issues in built-out vans. Previously, springs required specific weight and lift height orders. This innovative spring offers adjustable rate and height in one package, suiting van builders, kit installers, and DIYers. It comprises main springs, a secondary stage, and Adjustable Preload Spacers (APS). The APS, machined blocks with stackable delrin glide pads, preload the secondary stage into the main stage. When weighted, the APS engage both stages together. Changing preload spacers is simple, requiring just a floor jack, socket wrench, and a mallet, with no need to remove the springs from the vehicle.
