The NEW AND IMPROVED Golow has been designed from the bottom up for ground level photography. The Golow puts you AT OR BELOW EYE-LEVEL of the subject you're trying to capture. Engineered to be tough, the Golow comfortably supports gear exceeding 20 pounds with NO SIGN OF FLEX. And at just over half a pound and measuring less than 10 inches wide and 2 inches high, it adds almost no weight to your bag. It's new DUAL BOLT LOCK design eliminates issues stemming from over-tightening seen in inferior designs. Cane River is an American small home-based business with family roots in Louisiana. Each of our Golow Ground Pods has been printed, assembled, heat treated, and painted by hand. Golow Pod does not come with camera or head mount seen in photos.

That's why we ensured the Golow was as light as possible without sacrificing its strength. The carabiner loop (carabiner included) allows quick connection to your camera bag for transport. With the mount removed, the 10" Golow Max slides comfortably into most camera bags that have space for a tablet or laptop.
• Low Profile: With a height of just 2" most ball head and gimbals will allow your camera to be operated from less than 4 or 5 inches above the ground. This low angle puts the lens at or below eye level of most wildlife creating dramatic, interesting photographs.
• Rigid Construction: Engineeered to be tough, the compact Golow can comfortable support heavy lenses without flexing. The quarter inch mounting screw is pressure fitted, heat treated, and locked in place to ensure a stable connection for your camera gear.
