This is 'Delia Creates' pattern by the same name (recommend checking her out). I do not own this pattern, she does have it listed as free on her website. Used the same yarn in her pattern, Brava Yarn worsted weight
Worked as DC and Ch, base then weaved through to create the Gingham pattern. Was really fun to put together!
Final size minus the fringe is 47" x 47". This pattern does lend itself to stretch a little.
I have kept this finished throw on the back on my couch. In a pet-free and smoke-free home. I have not washed it, but once since I haven't used it and kept it as decor.
Please only wash on a delicate cycle in a mesh bag, I'm afraid the fringe would catch and pull itself out. As this is handmade, I did weave the ends through the finished product, but there is the possibility they will poke out after use.
