• A high quality Japanese socket chisel with a special high-grade Yasugi White Steel laminated over a carbon steel body. The main body is hardened to 61HRC which makes the chisel very durable & less brittle unlike many other Japanese chisels. It's chisel blade is very durable & will hold an edge extremely well, better than most Western-style chisels out on the market. The whole chisel itself has a well-balanced feel when in your hand with it's long blade ideal for woodworkers. The back of the blade is also finely polished & hollowed, making the blade easy to re-sharpen whenever the need arises. The chisel has beveled edges which help the woodworker work with accuracy in tight spots. The strong & durable Japanese Red Oak handle feels good in the hand & is excellent for when striking with a mallet.
