If the dead person was important, their mummified body would have been put into a special wooden coffin called a sarcophagus.
This mask is perfect, there is no damage at all. This mask is larger than most other Mayan death masks you'll find online. This mask is the same size as a human face, and may have been worn in a death by a mayan.
