Motorized pinhole wheels enable automated, precise positioning of pinholes. An optically encoded motor ensures repeatable movement between pinholes at a resolution of 10 m, eliminating the need for realignment. The device connects to a PC via USB and can be controlled using provided GUI software or DLL. The output can be coupled to an SMA multimode fiber or used as a free-space beam, and the wheels can be integrated into custom confocal microscope systems or other experimental setups.
