This access panel features a robust, welded aluminum frame, available with 1/2" (12.7 mm) or 5/8" (15.9 mm) inlayed drywall and two latches. Both the outer and inner frame assemblies are made of high-grade aluminum, bonded with a special welding process. Panels 12" x 12" (305 x 305 mm) and larger come with a safety system to prevent accidental opening, which must be reattached if the hatch is removed. A 1/16" (1.59 mm) reveal is visible between the outer frame and door hatch. The panel opens with concealed snap locks when pressure is applied to the spring-loaded latch side. Designed for recessing into concrete wall systems, this panel comes with predrilled holes for easy installation.
