All laminating pouches are not the same. Oregon Lamination laminating supplies are designed and manufactured to specifications from people who do laminating for a living, to achieve high clarity with minimum defects while producing a clear glossy finish protecting and enhancing colors. Oregon Lamination laminating pouches have not been setting on the shelf for years, so our fresh adhesive may melt faster than others, which means potential faster running times or lower temperatures used. Oregon Lamination is among industry leaders in providing quality laminating supplies for a reasonable price. Our laminating products provide high value protection using quality materials. Oregon Lamination 12” x 18” x 10 mil (per side) heat activated thermal laminating pouches are high clarity after adhesive is heat activated and are commonly referred to as Large Menu, Double Letter and Tabloid/ledger size. The clear glossy finish protects and enhances colors. These laminates are 10 mil thick on each flap for major durability, strength, rigidity and protection. ALERT: Many pouch laminators on the market can seal a maximum of only 5 mil pouches, so PLEASE make sure your laminator is capable of sealing 10 mil pouches prior to ordering. (If you don’t have your machine’s manual, a good reference is if your laminator has either a speed control OR a temperature control, it will likely seal 10 mil pouches). Note: Industry standard specification for 10 mil laminating pouches is 10 mil on each flap for a total of 20 mil added to your paper sheet card. 1 mil equals 1/1000th of an inch (metric: 25 microns). The industry calls these pouches, yet they are sealed on only one edge instead of three (like a folder, but with 3/32” flat seal for the fold). FEATURES: These laminates are compatible with all thermal pouch laminators capable of sealing 12” x 18” x 10 mil (per side) lamination sheets (metric size: 305mm x 457mm x 250 microns thick x 2 flaps adds 500 microns thickness to your sheet). Durable high gloss finish makes colors pop, drawing attention to your printed information. Small Pre-Rounded Corners for a Smooth Professional Finish, approximately 1/8” radius (3mm) Maximum insert sheet size Recommended: up through 11-3/4” x 17-3/4” (299mm x 451mm) providing a 1/8” (3mm) sealed edge border protecting your sheet. Clear polyester plastic with Heat Activated EVA adhesive ConstructionTYPICAL APPLICATIONS:Laminating Large Menus, Double Letter, 11 x 17 or Tabloid Size Sheets Placemats Signs Arts & Crafts Paper Sheets requiring extra handlingTips:When trying any brand for the 1st time, consider running at a slightly lower temperature (or faster speed). If the results are cloudy, you can always run the sheet again at a higher temperature or slower speed, but you cannot fix heat blisters caused by running too hot or too slow. If planning on trimming or hole punching laminated sheets, wait 24 to 72 hours for maximum adhesive curing time and a professional cut edge.Thank you for considering Oregon Lamination laminating products, designed by people who do laminating for a living and provide a money back performance guarantee.
