The Allux Bjorn Top-loading freestanding locking Mail/Parcel Box is made of strong galvanized steel, a soft closing lid, with a Black powder coat finish and features a bright LED motion activated light above the mail/parcel slot to light up entire front of parcel box at night for easy mail/parcel retrieval. LED light is powered by four AA Batteries (sold separately) and two buttons are located inside at top of the mailbox inside mail retrieval door to adjust brightness and time light remains illuminated. When the lid is raised up a steel plate lifts inside with lid, then the parcel is placed through the top and drops into locking compartment when lid is closed keeping contents safe from unwanted hands. It can easily fit up to two weeks of mail and is fitted with a heavy duty Ruko lock and comes with a set of keys. A galvanized mounting base (Product# MB-PLSM-8002) is also available and sold separately to anchor parcel box into the ground or you can bolt it to a cement slab.
