The Shure ANI22-BLOCK is an audio network interface designed to bridge analog audio equipment with Dante digital audio networks. It converts up to two analog microphone or line-level signals into Dante streams and can also convert Dante audio back to analog outputs. This makes it a practical solution for integrating traditional audio gear into modern networked audio systems without the need for larger, rack-mounted converters.

Equipped with analog block connectors, the ANI22-BLOCK uses two 6-pin connectors for inputs and two 3-pin connectors for outputs, providing a straightforward and secure connection method for professional audio setups. It supports 24-bit, 48 kHz audio quality with a wide dynamic range of 113 dB, ensuring clear and detailed sound reproduction. The device offers selectable analog output levels, allowing you to tailor the output for line, auxiliary, or microphone use, which adds flexibility depending on your audio environment.

Power and network connectivity are delivered through a single Cat 5e or higher Ethernet cable using Power over Ethernet (PoE), simplifying installation and reducing cable clutter. The interface features a browser-based control system accessible via any HTML5-compatible browser, making it easy to configure and monitor remotely without specialized software.

This interface is ideal for audio professionals who need to integrate legacy analog microphones or line-level devices into a Dante network, such as in conference rooms, broadcast studios, houses of worship, or live sound environments. Its compact size and efficient design make it a convenient choice for installations where space is limited but high-quality audio conversion is essential.

Highlights:
  • Two analog inputs and two analog outputs using block connectors for secure connections
  • Seamless integration with Dante networks supporting 24-bit/48 kHz audio sampling
  • Selectable analog output levels at 0 dB, -20 dB, and -46 dB to match various audio sources
  • Adjustable analog gain range of 51 dB in 3 dB increments for precise control
  • Powered via Power over Ethernet with a maximum consumption of 11 watts
  • Low latency performance: 0.35 milliseconds from analog to Dante and 0.71 milliseconds from Dante to analog
  • Easy configuration and monitoring through an HTML5 browser interface
  • High dynamic range of 113 dB for clear and detailed audio reproduction
