The body [width] has a bit of extra room for comfort, but is not one of those 'boxy' instagram shirts. The body length was carefully adjusted to be not too long, while also not being anywhere near a 'cropped' shirt.
WASHING:
Wash on cold or with low heat, tumble or air dry; while the fabric has been pre-washed, the shirt is still subject to shrinkage if washed improperly.
If you don't want to worry about wash care, I might suggest sizing up once to compensate for any shrinkage.
