Coarse-grade aluminum oxide abrasive ensures fast cutting and extended durability, keeping the belts' superior edge. A woven fabric (scrim) embedded in the nylon structure provides additional strength and durability for edge work, deburring, and efficient blending of all metal types. The non-woven material combined with abrasive grain is ideal for adding a great finish or removing burrs. Aluminum oxide, a tough and durable abrasive, self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, unlike traditional abrasives like garnet that wear down quickly. Its high cut-rate, hardness, strength, and low heat retention make it suitable for various substrates in woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys.
