The Ark Playing Cards TEMPO PLUS & TEMPO LAB PLUS are both brand new, unopened decks.
These decks are unlike any other, featuring a UV light and special ink that causes them to glow when illuminated with the UV light.
They are already out of stock on overseas websites, and obtaining them in Japan is quite difficult.
Quoted from the product description:
The cards are fully pressed with metallic foil. The research and development of this technology cost approximately 4 million yen. The cards shine purple from edge to edge, both front and back, making them absolutely stunning. The white areas glow when exposed to a black light.
The card case has a mechanism where the front panel flips up and the drawer pops out when you pull the flap. This mechanism took six months to develop. Additionally, the card case changes color from white to purple when exposed to ultraviolet light. It also changes color under a black light and even in sunlight. The color fades after being left indoors for a while.
A penlight is included, and it comes in a dedicated box of the same design.
