The standoff brackets weigh only 1.5 pounds and include two parts, a right and left bracket. Each part is made of ultra-lightweight aluminum with foam resting points to protect the surface its being placed against. Once inserted into your ladder, they extend a full foot beyond the edge of your ladder. The installation process is easy and no fasteners are required.
