I believe this is a 3D copper wall art sculpture by Peter Friedling, titled "The Firefighter" or "The Engineman".
The sculpture was created in 1979 or 1982 at Friedling's Studio.
It is a three-dimensional piece made of copper with a faux patina applied to it.
The artwork depicts a firefighter in action, holding a hose.
