Environmental scientist Constance Roy and her son, Nicolas, are rescued from Earth's destruction and transported to the ark spaceship Orb by the Curators. Twelve months have passed, and the ship's orbit is decaying, causing them to crash into Jupiter. In a parallel universe, another version of Constance seeks answers to her mother's death. The head of a mysterious corporation can provide the answers, but at a price. When the Constances on Earth and Orb discover that Nicolas has the ability to save the Orb, they must work together to battle the Curators and save their son and future generations of humankind.
