Rosary College has been provisionally recognized by the Cardinal Newman Society in the Newman Guide for its commitment to providing a faithful Catholic education. Currently, it’s the only college recognized in the whole of South Carolina and one of four colleges to receive provisional recognition. The Guide highlights colleges that adhere to Catholic teachings, offering a well-rounded education aligned with the Church’s expectations. Rosary College is proud to uphold these values, fostering intellectual growth, character development, and a deepening of faith. Our mission is to provide an education that prepares students for both academic and spiritual success.

Scholarships

Rosary College are not yet able to offer scholarships of our own, so we have compiled a list of external scholarships to aid you in your discernment. Visit Scholarships to view all external scholarships.

Students who are interested in transferring to Rosary College will be admitted based on the quality of their application. Transfer credit will be determined on a case by case basis.

Homeschooled students classified as rising juniors, juniors, rising seniors, and seniors may apply. 

Students must submit an equivalent document that serves as a transcript. 

Letters of recommendation from a tutor, teacher, coach, employer, or equivalent are preferred. However, homeschooled students may ask a parent to write a letter of recommendation. The applicant should include a statement of why he or she asked the recommender to write the letter.

Rosary College students seeking a two-year Associate’s Degree in Catholic Studies in Integrated Humanities at Rosary College should be academically prepared to do so.

They have completed during their high school studies, at a minimum:

  1. 3 credits in English
  2. 2 credits in Math
  3. 2 credits in History or Social Studies
  4. 2 credits in Science
  5. 2 credits in one modern or ancient language

*Consideration will be made for high school student applicants who do not meet the minimum course requirements on a case-by-case basis.
