What is Consecration?
In Catholic theology, consecration sets a person, place, or object apart for a sacred purpose, such as the transformation of bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ during the Eucharist. Additionally, individuals, like bishops at ordination, undergo consecration to signify a permanent commitment to serve God and His Church.
What is Marian Consecration?
Marian Consecration is the dedication of oneself to Jesus through Mary, entrusting one’s spiritual journey to her guidance and intercession. Rooted in the teachings of saints like St. Louis de Montfort, it is a pathway to grow in holiness and deepen one’s relationship with Christ under Mary’s motherly care.
Fall Retreat
The Rosary College community began a Marian consecration on Saturday, October 19th guided by Father Michael Gaitley’s MIC, 33 Days to Morning Glory; a transformative do-it-yourself Marian consecration that has inspired thousands with its deep spiritual insights.
Our community consecration to the Blessed Virgin Mary culminates on Thursday, November 21st, the Feast of the Presentation of Mary.
