Thomas Curtin, Esq.

Faculty

Mr. Thomas Curtin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory and Composition from the University of Notre Dame, where he also completed a second major in Philosophy and minor in Latin. After a short stint teaching music, he returned to his alma mater and completed his Juris Doctor from Notre Dame Law School, studying under Dr. John Finnis. He has taught extensively at both the secondary and college levels, offering courses in Music, Latin, US History, Philosophy, and Theatre.

A composer and lyricist, Mr. Curtin has authored many sacred pieces, works of musical theatre, and a song cycle based on the poetry of Robert Louis Stevenson.

Mr. Curtin is deeply committed to forming souls through Catholic education and has spent the last nine years as Headmaster of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic School in Greenville, SC, where he led their nationally recognized turnaround from a struggling elementary school to a thriving classical K-12 academy. He and wife Kaitlyn have six lovely children.
