Michelle Marie Sheahan, MBA, MA
Director of Student Recruitment and Outreach
msheahan@rosary.college
Michelle Marie Sheahan, a first-generation college graduate from Cohoes, NY, is a proven leader passionate about Catholic education forming saints. She holds an MBA and an MA, which she earned while working full-time, and brings experience in higher education, consulting, and Catholic ministry. As Rosary College’s first full-time employee, she pioneered the Fall 2024 launch by recruiting 20 students, forming a marketing committee, and streamlining operations with colleagues and volunteers.
Previously, at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business, Michelle advised 250 undergraduates each year, where she developed a passion for students having access to faithful Catholic education. She managed the Parents Advisory Council (PAC) in partnership with the undergraduate dean, building PAC membership, organizing multi-city PAC networking events, and driving PAC gifts to $500k in annual recurring funds. PAC gifts supported student programs, research scholarships, summer exchanges, and larger one-time gifts funded the McDonough Career Center launch.
At Rosary College, our team hopes to establish a Parents Advisory Council as a cornerstone of the College’s inaugural years, with the community’s support.
Due to Michelle’s passion for advancing the Culture of Life, promoting pro-life, pro-marriage-and-family values, and sharing the truth, beauty, and goodness of Catholic Church teachings, especially Pope John Paul II’s Theology of the Body, Michelle has completed consulting contracts with the National Catholic Singles Conference and Community, and the Chastity Project.
A lifelong Catholic, Michelle’s first Marian consecration in 2019 deepened her faith, leading her to a nightly rosary and examination of conscience. She hopes for marriage and family and requests prayers for her vocation. Michelle is grateful to her parents’ devotion to family, faith, and strong work ethics.
