Sibling Tuition Discounts Support Families

Rosary College Promotes Life in Accordance with the Teachings of the Catholic Church

Jesus, Joseph and Mary

Supporting Families

The College affirms that “Marriage and conjugal love are by their nature ordained toward the procreation and education of children. Children are really the supreme gift of marriage and contribute in the highest degree to their parents’ welfare” (Humanae Vitae 9). Rosary College promotes life and the Magisterium’s doctrines on life and marriage by offering siblings of full-time Rosary College students a discounted tuition rate.

Increasing Tuition Discounts for each Sibling

For every year of full-time enrollment a student has completed (with a minimum of 24 credit hours), one sibling is eligible for a 5% discounted tuition rate per equivalent number of years. The percentage discount increases by 5% with each additional sibling, according to the same terms and conditions, up to a maximum of 20%. In other words, the third sibling in a family would receive a 10% discount, the fourth sibling would receive a 15% discount, and the fifth would receive a 20% discount. All additional siblings beyond the fifth would receive a 20% discount on tuition.

For example, if Sibling A has completed two years of full-time courses, Sibling B would be eligible for a discounted rate of 5% for two years of full-time tuition. Alternatively, in the same example, two additional siblings (Siblings B and C) could split the two years and use one year each, in which case Sibling B’s discount would be 5% greater than Sibling A’s, and Sibling C’s would be 10% greater than Sibling A’s.

Years completed by students may, for the purposes of sibling tuition discounts, be combined between siblings (for example, two siblings can each complete one year and make a third sibling eligible for two discounted years of tuition), but each year can only be used once as the basis for a discount. If two or more siblings become full-time students simultaneously, no discount would apply until one of them completes one full-time year.

First Sibling

The first sibling of a full-time Rosary College student that completes one year is eligible for a 5% tuition discount. The sibling receives a discount for every year the original student completes. For example, if the student completes two years, the sibling gets a discount for two years.

Second Sibling

The second sibling receives a 10% discount for every year the first sibling completes. For example, if a sibling completes two years at a 5% discount, the next sibling receives a 10% discount for two years.

Third Sibling

The third sibling receives a 15% discount for every year the second sibling completes.

Fourth and Any Additional Siblings

The fourth and any additional siblings receive a 20% discount for every year the previous sibling completes.

“Children are really the supreme gift of marriage and contribute in the highest degree to their parents’ welfare” (Humanae Vitae 9).
